The Dental Bonding Process

Your dentist will then shape the composite resin in order to achieve the desired effect. The entire procedure generally only takes about 30 to 60 minutes, which is much faster than many other cosmetic dentistry procedures!

Is Dental Bonding Painful?
The dental bonding procedure is minimally invasive, so it usually does not require the use of any anesthesia. In some cases, the tooth that will be bonded requires some shaping before the composite resin material is applied, in which case a local anesthetic may be used just to make sure that the procedure is as comfortable as possible for you. Dental bonding usually only requires one visit, unlike other procedures like dental veneers and crowns.
